Tellman Knudson is a Millionaire Internet Marketer from Vermont. In September of 2009 he set out on his most ambitious project yet. He started a barefoot Marathon run across the United States to raise $100,000,000 for homeless youth.
This is a very ambitious project to be sure. I’m sure there are those out there that think this fellow is quite insane. After all, he could have spent the winter comfortably in his Vermont Mansion.
When I first began to understand the workings of the Law of Attraction. I often wondered if anyone who really had money believed any of this stuff. Sure, you can read what Napoleon Hill and Wallace Wattles wrote in their books, but it is somewhat more difficult to get your hands on some tangible proof of this working in today’s world. I’ve become a lot more comfortable with the idea since I’ve gotten to know more and more people who follow the law to amass wealth. As I watch people like Tellman work their magic, I see that they follow the principals very closely.
Giving back a large portion of your wealth to help others is an important part of attracting more. I often hear the less informed say that the wealthy donate to charities because they get tax breaks. While there’s nothing wrong with taking advantage of the available tax breaks for your business, I believe that has little to do with philanthropy. The wealthy know the power of giving and coming from a place of abundance.
I think it was Joe Vitale who said it in a way I best understood. We are merely a conduit for money. Money is a measure of exchange for value received. Wealth comes not from the money exchanged, but from tapping into the flow of exchanging value with others. If we stop the flow by focusing only on receiving money, we no longer tap into the abundance that the universe has to offer. Giving value is just as important as receiving value.
